If you can follow directions and have used a wrench and a screw driver before, not hard at all. If you have built Ikea furniture or Lego models and enjoy it, this will be a piece of cake!  There are a bunch of repetitive steps to secure the extrusions.  Please view the assembly instructions before purchase if you are at all concerned!
